Brant has accumulated almost 20 years of experience in the banking industry. His knowledge and drive to deliver the best possible service to customers motivate him every morning. An excellent mentor, Brant thrives helping fellow employees reach their own personal goals. He is an exceptional leader who identifies knowledge, integrity, and a strong team effort as the defining characteristics of a successful banking team.
Brant stays connected to the business community through a wide variety of organizations – BNI Minnesota, Toast Masters and the Woodbury Area Chamber of Commerce. He has also served on the board of the Hugo Good Neighbor Food Shelf and the PCU Scholarship Fund Board. He currently serves as the vice president of the White Bear Area Fast Pitch Association.
Hugo is home to Brant, his wife and two daughters who are actively involved in sports. The family loves traveling and camping together. A bucket list goal is to visit every football stadium and baseball park in America. Next stop, Wrigley Field!

Derek Murphy believes that whether the past is good or bad, if we do not learn from it, we are bound to repeat it, especially in business. As an Assistant Bank Manager at the Woodbury office, Derek is a firm believer leveraging past experiences to accomplish his goals as efficiently—and effectively-- as possible. Derek coaches and teaches his team members in sales and customer service techniques to continue to improve our ability to serve our customers. Derek is always willing to go the extra mile for colleagues and customers if it means making their lives easier.
Derek and his wife have two small children. The family is active with their church makes it a point to donate to local charities. Derek is eager to become more involved with the community in his new role with Anchor Bank.
As a history buff Derek enjoys immersing himself in learning about the past and researching American and world history. As a first generation Irish, he is very proud of his heritage and understands the hard work it takes for people to make something of themselves in this country. In his spare time, Derek writes and performs music and has auditioned, on more than one occasion, for some of television’s top singing competitions.
Aspirations: Derek aspires to learn to surf someday, which would also lead to more travel! He would like to vacation with his wife in Europe, and ultimately would like to own a property on a lake to accommodate many friends and family guests.
Education: Pursuing a degree in Business Management at Metropolitan State University.

Mary has spent her entire career at Anchor Bank Woodbury. A self-professed “people person,” she feels best when customers leave her office with a smile on their faces. A skilled listener, Mary helps each customer with efficiency and kindness. Combining knowledge and superior organizational skills, she is a valuable asset to her Woodbury team.
Known for her resourcefulness, a favorite memory is being able to help a panicked customer gain access to the vault on a Saturday. The woman needed her passport for a flight to Switzerland leaving later in the day. The relief and gratitude expressed by the customer still makes Mary smile.
Mary commutes from Somerset, Wisconsin where she lives with her husband, two dogs and two barn cats. She has three grown, amazing children and a new daughter-in-law. She hopes to travel to Alaska and Australia one day.
